01 — For Runners & Community
What is flocr.?
flocr. is a community platform for runners looking for local group runs and running clubs looking to organize their crew. Whether you run road, trail, or track, flocr. brings daily run sessions, clubs, and routes together in one place.
Can I use flocr. when traveling?
Yes. A core goal of flocr. is borderless running community. When visiting another city, state, or country, open flocr. to find local community runs happening around you and lace up with local crews wherever you go.
How do I find group runs and training groups near me?
Head to Events and use the Near Me filter. You can filter by discipline (Road, Trail, Track) or browse by daily training focus such as Easy runs, Tempo workouts, Track intervals, Long runs, or Recovery jogs.
How do I join a run and get directions?
Tap RSVP on any event page. You get immediate access to meeting point links opening directly in Google Maps or Waze, plus the attendee roster and event chat.
How do GPX route downloads work?
Event hosts and route creators upload GPX files so you can preview interactive elevation profiles and terrain before heading out. Tap download to save the file straight to Garmin Connect, Coros, Suunto, or Apple Watch.
Why should I enable notifications?
Whenever a club you joined posts a new run, updates the meetup spot, or postpones due to weather, flocr. delivers push and in-app alerts. Make sure to allow notifications so you never miss a schedule change.
02 — For Running Clubs & Leaders
How does flocr. help manage a running club?
flocr. provides all core organizer tools in one simple system: RSVP management, on-site QR code check-ins, attendance tracking CRM, exact navigation links to prevent lost runners, and an open discovery directory to attract new local runners.
What is Event Co-Hosting?
Clubs can co-host runs together. Inviting a partner club displays the meetup across both clubs' calendars and member feeds, helping unite different crews and grow the local running culture.
What are the requirements for the "Top Club" badge?
The Top Club badge recognizes active and established communities. Qualification requires:
1. Member Base: More than 50 registered members (memberCount > 50).
2. Active Hosting: A consistent record of organizing community runs with verified attendees.
03 — The Mission & Going Native
Is flocr. free?
Yes, 100% free for both individual runners and club organizers.
An independent passion project
flocr. was built and self-funded by an independent passionate runner who wants to see running clubs and local scenes grow together.
As the community expands, server and infrastructure expenses naturally grow. With community backing and steady growth, the plan is to launch flocr. as a native mobile app on the App Store and Google Play.
If you ever encounter a temporary server hiccup or glitch, we apologize in advance—we are continuously tuning and improving performance for the entire running community.
